You’re welcomed by a local guide from the village. They’ll explain village rules and history before you enter.

Mukuni is the home of Chief Mukuni and has over 500 residents.

Walk through the village with your guide. You’ll visit:

- *Traditional Homes*: See how Leya families live in round huts with thatched roofs. Learn about daily life, cooking, and family structure

- *The Chief’s Palace*: View the palace from outside and learn about the role of the Chief in Zambian culture

- *Local School / Clinic*: Stop by if in session to see community projects

- *Craftsmen at Work*: Watch wood carvers, basket weavers, and bead workers. Learn about the meaning behind the patterns

Your guide shares stories about traditions, marriage, religion, and how the village balances modern life with customs.

Cultural Performance + Interaction*

Enjoy traditional dancing and drumming by village performers.

After, you’ll have time to interact, ask questions, and take photos.

Optional: Visit the village market to buy authentic handmade crafts directly from artisans.

Return Transfer*

Drop-off back at your hotel in Livingstone.
